I am an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching and leadership experience, and throughout this journey, my passion for education has only continued to grow stronger.

From early in my career, I have been driven by a deep commitment to supporting young people—not only academically, but in helping them develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Working closely with students and families over the years has given me a strong understanding of the diverse needs within our community, and the importance of inclusive, supportive learning environments.

My journey has taken on an even more personal meaning as a parent of a child with additional needs. Supporting my son has given me a profound insight into the challenges families face when navigating services, education systems, and daily life. It has strengthened my determination to advocate for the right support, early intervention, and opportunities that allow every child to reach their full potential.

Through both my professional and personal experiences, I have developed a strong passion for empowering families. I believe that when parents are supported, informed, and confident, they are better equipped to advocate for their children and create positive outcomes.
