Irene Strauss is a Senior Social Worker who has been working with children and their families for the last 17 years. She has experience in the area's of child wellbeing, parent, infant and child mental health and more recently in the area of neurodevelopmental disabilities. Irene is a devoted mother of three children, with her middle child having special needs. Having gone through the process of assessment, diagnosis and everything that comes with having a child with a disability, Irene understands first hand the difficulties and impacts of this on the whole family. She is passionate about providing access to early intervention support and services for children and their families, and helping children reach their potential. Furthermore, Irene is passionate on increasing support and reducing isolation for families and increasing community awareness on child disabilities
