"Adam is the youngest of three children and is of Syrian heritage. Due to war, his family migrated from Syria to Lebanon and finally to Australia. Although relieved they were granted refugee status in Australia, they still had many challenges to overcome."
Our son Callum was born only at 24 weeks gestation. He spent 113 days in an ICU and then 12 months on oxygen at home. Even though we were able to bring our son home, other health complications arose. Since then Callum has been diagnosed with chronic lung disease and later with ASD.
We have never been so excited to share the empowering journey of our beautiful Diana. In 2020, after a long and anxious wait on the kidney transplant list, Diana finally received her life-saving surgery at 16 years old.
